Due to the surge in pollutants and environmental waste, the government has recommended a legal policy to address the problem with the help of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The government has enacted a law called Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) to reduce and improve the problem of Packaging Plastic Waste.
The Extended Producers Responsibility focuses on enforcing these requirements on diverse Producers, Brand Owners, and Importers to prevent Post-industrial Plastic Waste.
